A fifth generation Shenandoah resident. Elected and served on the Shenandoah School Board, City Council, and two term Mayor.
Appointed to the Vision Iowa Board by then Governor Vilsack in 2001. Served on the Vision Iowa Board until 2005.
Currently the Executive Vice President of the Shenandoah Chamber & Industry Association. Also, part owner of KMAland Broadcasting Company.
