Vision Shenandoah is inviting qualified contractors to submit bids for the comprehensive rehabilitation of a single-family home at 207 Pine Street, Shenandoah, Iowa. The project includes structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and cosmetic improvements to meet local codes, with work covering both interior and exterior repairs, system upgrades, accessibility enhancements, and energy efficiency improvements. Contractors must attend a pre-bid site visit and provide proof of insurance, a performance bond, and references from similar projects. Bids must be submitted by 5 PM on 02/20/2026, including an itemized bid form, proposed timeline, and required documentation. Project Overview:
Vision Shenandoah is seeking qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the rehabilitation of a single-family residence located at 207 Pine Street. The work will address structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and cosmetic improvements to meet local building codes and standard of Vision Shenandoah.
Scope of Work Includes:
The rehabilitation will include, but is not limited to:
- Exterior: Roof repair/replacement, Structural repairs as needed, siding repair, painting, window/door replacement.
- Interior: Rebuilding damaged walls, replace damaged subfloor, Insulation as needed, Flooring replacement, drywall repair, painting, kitchen and bathroom upgrades if needed.
- Systems: Electrical rewiring damaged rooms, make sure all is up to code, plumbing repairs replace lead pipes, HVAC servicing/replacement if recommended.
- Other: Accessibility improvements, energy efficiency upgrades.

Site Visit:
Pre-bid site visits will be held Feb 11th 12-1pm or Feb 18th 2-4pm at 207 Pine Street or by arrangement by texting to 712.246.9126. Contractors must do a pre-bid site visit to be eligible to submit a bid.
Bid Submission Instructions:
Bids must include:
1. Completed Bid Form (Appendix A) with itemized pricing.
2. Proposed project timeline.
3. References from at least three similar projects.
4. Copies of required licenses and insurance certificates.
