My name is Lucas Hughes and I manage both Mondos restaurant and Sports Plex in Shenandoah. Being a native of Shenandoah, I am fortunate to bring my beautiful wife, Jennah, and our two daughters back home to help continue on the family businesses.
As the previous CEO of the YMCA in Newton, Iowa, I believe I’ll bring a unique perspective of both the recreation world and nonprofit experience.
My passion is to make Shenandoah thrive in all aspects of what makes a community great, An opportunistic workforce, a wide variety of housing options, and a sense of togetherness.
I look forward to serving on the board of Vision Shenandoah and to help create a better tomorrow for us all!
